Here some information about the pipe and stuff we do or don't do.
DO'S
- An asset is missing
1 - is it a new asset ?
Please ask your coordo. New asset should be added via SG by your PM.
2 - The asset already exist and you want it twice.
Please follow blue arrows below : SFS > Layout tool > instance/copy or instance to target if you want to match the position of the instanced asset to the master one.

- SET PROP and PROP
A prop has a rig for animation.
A setprop has only a pos init CTLR, you can move it and key it once if the setprop is in the way of your shot but you can't animate them.
- When you want to make an asset disappear, please take his pos init and put it below the ground with a key on the first frame.
DON'T
- Don't use reset or freeze transform on the asset. If there is an issue with one of them, please let SFS know.
- Don't touch the root of the asset.
And please don't move anything out of the root group.
- Outliner hierarchy should remain untouched.
- Don't move the sets or environments.
- Please don't create reference. If you need to import an asset for reference or any other raison, keep in into a “temp folder", it should not be published.
- Display layer won't pass the publish. They should all be baked before publishing. Please make sure the animation stays the same after that.
- Please don't scale the characters.
